Now open in The Shoppes at Grand Harbour.
After months of anticipation and hard work, owners Mike Bell, Ken Moore and Paolo Carbini are thrilled to announce the opening of their new restaurant, Castaway’s Grille.
Castaway’s Grille is a full service restaurant that seats some 250 guests. Very “cool” looking, the décor is unexpected but refreshing with stone walls, marble tables, huge windows and a raised bar that overlooks the inside tables.
Outside on the large patio, customers can relax under large umbrellas and enjoy watching events at the soon-to-be open Black Pearl skateboard park and wave pool.
The extensive menu is sure to please everyone, offering Caribbean-influenced, international dishes using many local ingredients. Chef Donnie Lantzer brings a wealth of experience with him from his years with Calypso Grille, the Marriot, DJ’s and the Westin. Donnie has created a variety of tantalizing dishes that will keep patrons coming back for more.
Ken is enthusiastic about what his new ventures, stating “our restaurant is just one piece of the fantastic community developing around the Shoppes at Grande Harbour.”
Paolo is equally enthusiastic. “I am very excited and proud of what we have built and I look forward to offering a great dining experience to the people of Cayman today and for years to come.”
Castaway’s Grille is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11:30 and offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
